The Mentoring Millennial

About

Who is Skye?
Project Manager | IT Manager | People Manager | Problem Manager | Mentor
I believe the best path to mastering any skill is to "See it -> Do it -> Teach it" and find myself enjoying sharing my knowledge through teaching the lessons I've learned along my journey.

I turned IT from a hobby to a career through consulting with numerous small businesses, true mom & pop retail and restaurants, who all found themselves desiring Point-of-Sale systems. This expertise in POS systems granted me the opportunity to deploy new systems throughout several National Parks and work with end users to ensure it was effective for their operations.

I currently find myself working with a hospital network for the 2nd time in my life & the size of my current employer awarded me further opportunities to fuel my passions for being a teacher through a robust Mentor/Mentee program.
